Woy Woy Infinity Pool
If you’re looking for a charming spot to take a refreshing swim, the secret man-made infinity pool in Brisbane Water National Park on the central coast is just the place for you. While the trail itself is mostly flat, finding your way to the falls can be a bit tricky. But the real delight is discovering the hidden trough waterfall deep inside the park.
To reach the breathtaking waterfall and infinity pool, begin by parking your car at Woy Woy Road, at the start of Tunnel Firetrail track. (Coordinates: -33.481279, 151.295083).
The walk to the pool takes less than an hour, depending on your pace and any stops you make, but it can get a bit challenging at times. It’s essential to ensure you are physically fit enough for the journey.
Follow the firetrail for about 1km until you reach the gates. Once you pass through them, continue until you see the sign for Mullet Creek and Rocky Ponds. Turn left here and follow the powerlines down until you reach the end of the track. Look to your right and you’ll see a tiny bush where you have to walk through, till you see a little creek.

At this point, you can take one of two routes to get to the top of the falls. I would recommend the first option as it is straightforward. However, if you prefer to stay dry, you can follow the second option.
The first option is to take your shoes off and follow the creek down, note this can be very slippery.
The second option is more complicated, but there are pink ribbons to help guide you. Cross the creek, and you’ll see an open area in front of you. Turn slightly left, and there should be a pink ribbon marking the way. Walk parallel to the creek, keeping it on your left, until you reach the top of the waterfall. Be extremely careful and avoid getting too close to the edge as there is a significant drop.
To get to the infinity pool, turn right from the top of the falls, and you’ll see a trail going down.
The trail can get muddy, and there is a long rock that requires a bit of scrambling to get down, so it’s a good idea to wear proper hiking boots with good grip.
After passing this rock, continue for a few more minutes, and you’ll come across the pool.
It’s best to visit early in the morning or on a weekday to avoid the crowds. Take a dip in the pool and enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings. To return to your car, follow the same path, which is relatively easy, except for the rock that requires a bit of scrambling once again.
